How daily check-ins work
Dovie calls or texts at the times you choose. Your loved one confirms they're okay; if they don't, the care circle is alerted.
A check-in is one scheduled outreach — a call or a text — at a time you set. There are three types:
- Wellness Check — a friendly "how are you doing?" The goal is a confirmed I'm okay.
- Reminder — a nudge (e.g. medication), also confirming they're okay.
- Social Call — a longer, no-pressure chat; just connecting is the goal.
Your loved one confirms by pressing 1, saying "I'm okay," or replying with a quick text. If a Wellness or Reminder check-in isn't confirmed after the scheduled attempts, the care circle is alerted.
